In late 2019 a small number of community members had planted a fake story that U2 was playing for free in Mission Beach for New Year’s Eve in 2019.
The Queensland Government Department of Justice offers a free mediation service to deal with even very major issues of defamation on a grand scale, such as this matter. exposing the lies of a few people in an attempt to defame Mr Rodney F Young.
Cassowary Coast Independent News (CCIN) had found out the paper was totally lied too dishonestly by a small number of community member, it’s highly recommend to use this free and simple option to resolve these serious issues, that is still causing very serious harm to Mr Young.
Anyone still claiming that U2 was playing for free in Mission Beach for NYE last year (or anytime) doesn’t have any creditably, in fact it’s plain defamation of Mr Young.
Investigations show that one community member spreading the lies about U2 playing for free in Mission Beach was Craig Tatnell of Above Ground Zero Fireworks in Townsville.
Mr Tatnell who has now become known in the community as “Pinocchio” had also lied and was dishonest to gain a benefit over another, falsely claiming that anyone is required to be registered in order to fundraise to hold community fireworks in Queensland under the Collections Act 1966 (The Act)
The Queensland Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Leader of the House had determined that there is no need to be registered under “The Act” and full evidence community members was totally dishonest in their false claims.
