Police are investigating the theft of a black 2003 Mitsubishi Pajero with Queensland registration number 256KRR from the Bingil Bay area Thursday morning.
Initial reports indicate the vehicle was taken around 7am from a Bingil Bay Road address.
The vehicle was left unlocked with the keys in the vehicle.
Police urge anyone with any information to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference number QP1701297694.
Police remind the public that opportunistic thieves target unlocked vehicles and homes.
