The annual Mission Beach Banana Festival is on the 19th of August at the Mission Beach State School.

Rides this year include Mini Dodgems, Jumbo Super Slide, Teenage Superfly (3 years – adult swing ride) & Tarzan Trek Mega Jumping Castle
JuJu Moon will be playing at the festival from 5pm
Fireworks display to close the festival at 7:30 pm.
