Say G’day to this Cassowary chick that Tropical Vet Services gave a check over today.
This little bloke (or girl, we are not sure yet) is an orphan and is now a resident of the Garners Beach Cassowary Rehab Facility.
He/she came in to care today because despite EHP’s best efforts it was not able to be reunited with its family.
The Cassowary chick will now have a long way to go before being released back in to the wild.
